So if you want a committed relationship, then make sure your behavior and mindset is aligned to that goal and that your potential partners want to be in a committed relationship as well. If you are more into polyamory or playing the field, that’s fine, too. But don’t string people along. Make sure that the people you connect to are aware that you are not seeking monogamy. Whatever your desire is, be authentic and  be fair to yourself and to the people you are dealing with.

Hi, Everyone! Today’s Tarot card is the Four of Swords. This past week has been a crazy one, what with the solstice, the holidays, and the new moon/solar eclipse. If you can, take a break from everything today and just have some quality “me time.” Try to get you family and anyone else who is around you to support your quest for peace and quiet. Let them know it’s nothing personal, but for at least an hour or so, you just want to be alone to meditate, rest, or otherwise gather yourself as we head into the new year and more intense energies.

First, I have to point out that tonight going into tomorrow is the new moon and a solar eclipse that will be exact at 12:13 Eastern. Astrologically, this means that the effect of the new moon will be heightened and last for months. New beginnings may seem sudden and fated. It is also thought that these new beginnings will be happy ones: Some of you have already started to see these new beginnings take shape. The Knight of Pentacles is reminding us to ground theses energies and allow them to play out in our earthly and physical life.  Also, keep your eye on the prize and allow the Universe to help you achieve your goals as we head into the new year.

The King of Swords is suggesting that you get out of your feelings for a little while and more into your head. Don’t let the emotion of the holiday keep you from making sense. Are you doing too much, spending too much, or putting too much emphasis on what is wrong with your life? Use your logic to tell you when you have done enough preparation and you can now sit down and enjoy the holiday vibe. Or, instead of worrying, use your energy to think of ways to make your situation better. Take it one step at a time.

The Tarot Card for today is the Ten of Swords. The Tens of every suit in Tarot are in some ways about endings. And the suit of Swords is, in part, about thoughts and ideas. So for us today, in keeping with the other cards we’ve had this week, the Ten of Swords is about ending the thoughts that don’t serve us. Just like they are doing to the person shown on this card, it is time to bury the thought that you are not good enough. That thought is keeping you from doing the things you want to do and are able to do. Also, understand that the Tens of every suit in Tarot are about new beginnings, as well. And there is a new beginning for you once you lay to rest all of your doubts.
