The full moon in Libra—also known as the pink moon because it is the first full moon of spring—is exact on April 12 at 8:22 p.m. eastern.
Full moons are about endings, in part, and this full moon can be said to officially end eclipse season, for real for real! (It may seem like a long time ago, but we experienced a solar eclipse just two weeks ago). The Libra full moon also puts the finishing touches on the lessons we were asked to learn when the lunar nodes were in Aries and Libra from July 2023 to January of 2025, as I’ve discussed previously.
Libra is associated with relationships, justice, and compromise, among other things. Generally speaking, and especially now, the goal is to seek harmony with others while still honoring your own needs and boundaries.
To work with the energies of the full moon in Libra, set your intentions to end people-pleasing situations and behaviors that keep you from being your authentic self. It’s truly possible to stand in your truth without creating conflict.
The key is to use Libra’s cardinal air sign traits. Librans are thinkers and communicators, so you may want to take the lead in starting important conversations and to consider your words carefully. By the same token, remember that good communication is not just about talking but about listening, as well.
If you don’t see eye to eye with someone, you can always agree to disagree. See what I did there? Depending on the situation, you can agree to do your own thing in those areas of contention and come back together as friends on the things about which you are like-minded.
However, if one person can’t meet you where you are, that’s okay. Somebody else will.
