Daily Tarot Reading for 5-8-2018

The Tarot card of the day is the Queen of Cups. Get in touch with your feelings. That means pay attention to your reactions and don’t deny what you find, whether they are pleasant emotions or uncomfortable ones like fear, anger, and anxiety, for example. You have a right to feel the way you do, so don’t try to pretend certain feelings don’t exist. Be kind to yourself.  You won’t be able to address the cause of your unpleasant feelings unless you at least recognize them. Solutions may be easier than you think. As for your pleasant emotions, be grateful for them and spread the love in any way your can.

Have an awesome day.

Daily Tarot Reading for 4-18-2018

The Tarot card for today is the Queen of Cups. Get in touch with your inner self. How do you feel? What is in your heart? Pay attention to your intuition. If this is not easy for you, it’s okay. It takes practice.

Here’s an exercise: For every decision you have to make today, check in with how you feel first.  It doesn’t matter if it is a big decision or a small one, such as what color are you going to wear, do you want an apple or a banana, how are you going to approach your boss with a problem you’re having.

Following your heart will feel like a sensation in your body or an emotion— it will not be a thought. If you have a feeling and a thought at the same time, let the feeling win out over the thought. If you are not used to doing this, it will feel weird and crazy, but it also will make you happy. Try it and see. Do what your heart desires!

Have a great day.

Tarot Talk: The Suit of Cups

When a card in the suit of Cups turns up for the Daily Tarot Card or in a personal reading, the interpretation of it will touch upon the emotions in some way or form.  Generally speaking, the emotion that the Cups leans heavily toward is love. Some would say, myself included, that love — or feeling the lack of love — is the basis of every other emotion there is. In the Tarot, very often, the Cups give a clue as to how to gain emotional stability so that you feel safe and loved, as well as how to give love to others.

The King and Queen of Cups represent examples of how the masculine and feminine energy, respectively, use emotional energy to its best advantage. (In fact, King and Queen of each suit represent mastery of their particular element.)

The Cups represent watery energy, which means being receptive, intuitive, creative, and fluid. When related to astrology, the Cups are associated with the water signs — namely Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.

In a personal reading, the position of the card in the spread, the question, and intuition, among other things, help determine what each card means specifically. For the daily card, I clear my head and ask the Universe to show me what message the group as a collective needs to hear. I allow the card to pop out of of the deck as I shuffle. Then I interpret the card based on intuition and channeling.

As a result, any card can have an infinite number of interpretations, depending on the circumstance. But when I see a Cup, at least I know which general direction I’m going in.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Comments are welcome.

Daily Tarot Reading for 2-7-2018

Hi, all. Today’s Tarot card is the Queen of Cups. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve seen a lot of court cards (Pages, Knights, Queens, and Kings). In a regular reading, these court cards sometimes represent someone in our lives. But often, and especially for my Daily Tarot Readings, I think the court cards represent an aspect of ourselves.

I strongly feel that today’s Queen of Cups is a symbol of the love and nurturing we all need in our lives. In addition, she shows that each one of us can be a source of love to each other. Taking it even further, this card reminds us to treat ourselves with the kindness and love we willingly give to others. Sometimes, it is easier to expect love from or show love to others than it is to love ourselves. So let this be a day of balance. Let’s love ourselves and others the best way we can.

Comments are welcome! Have a magnificent day.

Daily Tarot Reading – Extended Weekend Report 1-26 to 1-28-2018

Hi, all. The Tarot card for today, Saturday, and Sunday is the Queen of Cups. Following on yesterday’s card, the loving feelings continue. The emotions are significant: You will compassionately support someone or else you will receive emotional support. Either way, the energy will be much welcomed and extremely healing for everyone involved. Bask in these feelings and enjoy the loving actions this weekend. During this time period, you will build the foundation for a beautiful relationship.

Peace and love!

Daily Tarot Reading for 7-19-2017

The card for today is the Queen of Cups, an energy of love, compassion, nurturing, and support. Show love and concern to the people around you today. But most importantly, direct that loving energy toward yourself. Be kind to yourself. Love who you are unconditionally. In addition, become a master of your emotions. Respect your boundaries and those of others. Yet don’t be afraid to express your love for fear that you will not be accepted. Feel your way along toward balance.

Each and every one of us has “masculine” energy and “feminine” energy inside of us. The Queen of Cups is a feminine energy, so for a man, today’s suggestion is to tap into your compassionate feminine side and express it through your male identity.

Many women also have a hard time expressing their feminine side. Sometimes women feel the need to protect themselves by not appearing weak. Some feel that in order to survive in a male-dominated society they have to act tough. Women: Today is a great day to let down your guard.

Today, you may come in contact with a person who is an emotional support for you, someone who cares about you, and makes you feel loved. Cherish the time spent with that person. Those moments are truly special.
