Daily Tarot Reading for 10-18-2018

The Tarot card of the day is the Knight of Cups. This could prove to be a calm, peaceful day. Compared with yesterday’s card, this card suggests a time to gently settle back into your heart space.  Swim in the good feelings and go with the flow.  You may hear expressions of love from someone else. This could be a romantic interaction but it could also be words of affection from friends or family.

Have a serene day.

Daily Tarot Reading for 10-17-2018

The Tarot card of the day is the King of Swords. This card suggests that this is a good time to allow logic to step forward and lead the way for your heart. Use your emotions and experiences as information for your mind to process.  In other news, perhaps someone in your life may approach you with their thoughts and wisdom. Their input may help give you clarity.

Have a bright, sunny, clear day (figuratively speaking)!

Daily Tarot Reading for 10-16-2018 (Fool’s Journey)

The Tarot cards for today are the Fool, Death, and the World. I think it’s remarkable that these cards came out together in that order, so I’m going to spend a little more time on this reading than usual. So bear with me!

Minor Arcana
As you may know, the Tarot deck that I use (which is one of the most popular Tarot decks and has been around a long time) has 78 cards. Fifty-six of the cards are made up of the four suits (Wands, Pentacles, Swords, and Cups). As a group, these 56 cards are called the Minor Arcana. Generally speaking, the Minor Arcana represents things that happen during everyday life and temporary events.

Major Arcana
The other 22 cards as a group are called the Major Arcana. They are numbered from 0 to 21. In a reading, they usually point to major turning points in a person’s life or an important highlight.

When the 22 cards in the Major Arcana are laid spread out one by one in numerical order, it is said to tell the story of the the Fool’s Journey. It starts with the 0 card (the innocent Fool) who begins his spiritual journey by learning how to use the four elements with the 1 card (the Magician), then learning how to rely on intuition with the 2 card (the High Priestess), then learning how to deal with raw masculine energy with the 3 card (the Emperor), and so on.

The Fool’s Journey
In my mind, the three cards I pulled today  is a perfect summary of the Fool’s Journey — starting at the beginning of the Major Arcana with card 0, the Fool, onward to the middle of the Major Arcana with card 13, Death (which is a symbol of transformation), and ending with the last card of the Major Arcana, card 21, the World (which symbolizes the successful completion of a major milestone).

Today’s Reading
Astrologically speaking, we have been dealing with some potent energies this year, including lots of retrogrades and a powerful series of eclipses. Like the Fool, we could not know exactly how these energies would affect our lives, but we carried on. It is very likely that your life has changed in important ways this year, both outwardly and in the way you think and feel inside. This is what the Death card represents — important change in your life. The World card suggests that you have come to understand what these changes mean and as a result, you are wiser.

Even as you celebrate the completion of this cycle, know that the cycle always begins again. There is always something new to learn and aspects of ourselves to discover. Like peeling an onion, there is always another layer.

Have a great day.

Daily Tarot Reading for 10-15-2018

Hi, all! The Tarot card for today is the Six of Pentacles. This is a card specifically about balance, as shown by the scales the main figure is holding. In this case, it is about being able to give and being able to receive something valuable — time, money, possessions, kindness. If you are in a position to give at the moment, do it with an open heart, humility, and respect, as there may come a time when you are the one who is in need.  If you are on the receiving end at the moment, receive with gratitude. There is never any shame in receiving. In the very next moment,  you could be in a position to do something for someone else.

Have a beautiful day.

Daily Tarot Reading – Extended Weekend Report 10-12 to 10-14-2018

The Tarot card for today, Saturday, and Sunday is the Two of Pentacles. Balance is the key word for this weekend. More than likely, things will be relatively calm and smooth sailing. You may decide to take a short trip or spend time visiting family and friends. You might coordinate weekend plans for a group of people. Keep an eye on finances: Have a good time but don’t go overboard on spending. If you have weekend chores to do or if you have to take care of some other business, don’t be all work and no play. Make sure to have a little fun or just simply relax.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Daily Tarot Reading for 10-11-2018

The Tarot card for today is the Moon. Go beneath the surface when it comes to analyzing issues in your life. What are your true desires, fears, strengths, and weaknesses? Some of what you find may make you uncomfortable. Some aspects of who you are may be in conflict with other parts of yourself.  Over time, one by one, address each need that arises and each part of you that is in pain. Become acquainted with your “shadow” life and you will soon see how whole you feel in the light of day.

Peace and love.

Daily Tarot Reading for 10-10-2018

The Tarot cards for today are the Sun and Judgement.  The energy of these cards invites you to  take a good look at your past and all the experiences you have been through. Rejoice at how far you have come! Recognize and show gratitude for all the lessons you have learned. This is the first day of a new life of awareness. Get excited about the opportunities ahead of you as a result of your  hard-earned wisdom.

Have a beautiful day.

Daily Tarot Reading for 10-9-2018

The Tarot cards for today are the Fool and the Seven of Swords. Last night’s new moon, as is true for all new moons, signals a time of new beginnings. One of the best ways to approach new beginnings is to be like the character in the Fool card — that is, to have an open mind, to be optimistic, and to know that you are protected. New experiences further your growth as a person. Unfortunately, as the Seven of Swords reminds us, not everyone is one the same path as you.  Some people have ill intentions toward you and some people may not realize that their chaotic energy is a distraction in your life. Be aware of this dynamic, without judgment. Serve as an example to others of integrity by  continuing to follow your bliss.

Have a great day.

Daily Tarot Reading for 10-8-2018

Hi, all! The Tarot card for today is the Seven of Wands. This is one of the cards we had for the past weekend. Conflict continues to be an issue as we start this new week. There are lots of astrological transits that may be playing a part. But I think for this Tarot reading, let’s put the focus on the new moon that will occur later on tonight. This is a time of new beginnings —so start out strong. Stand up for your beliefs even though others may not agree with you. You alone know what is right for you, so go with how you feel.

Have a great day.

Daily Tarot Reading – Extended Weekend Report 10-5 to 10-7-2018

The Tarot cards for today, Saturday, and Sunday are the Five of Wands and the Seven of Wands. There is a lot of energy  swirling around and it may feel like the energy is being directed at you. But in this case, how you feel inside is affecting how you see the outside world. The Five of Wands suggests that no one is intentionally trying to offend you. So stay calm these next few days and take everything with a grain of salt.

Have a wonderful weekend.
