Hi, everyone! The Nine of Goblets (Cups) is always an interesting card for me. On the one hand, tradition calls it the “Wish Fulfillment” card because it’s supposed to represent dreams come true and emotional satisfaction.

But on the other hand, it’s often interpreted to be about wanting more than you already have—or put another way, not truly appreciating what you have.

Yet when something feels good, it’s only natural to want more. That’s what keeps us motivated as human beings. We are constantly inspired to reach greater heights, whether it’s materially or spiritually.

Maybe the best thing we can do is to have a balanced perspective. Enjoy the moment but don’t think that things will always stay the same without effort on your part. You have to nurture your relationships and any material gain you have as opposed to using them up and taking them for granted. Or, if you have truly completed a goal, enjoy your success in this moment and when you’re ready, think about what you would like to do next.
