It’s hard for me to ever lose track of time. Maybe it’s because my natal Saturn is in it’s home sign of Capricorn, but I pretty much always know where I am in time and space. Saturn and Capricorn are all about discipline, being focused, and staying on task. Over the years, I have learned my lessons well about time under this astrological influence.
Back in the olden days, all we had were analog clocks. My mom taught me to tell time at a young age. After that, I soon discovered I had a pretty good sense of what time it was even without a clock around.
I was frequently given watches as gifts for a while, but somehow they always managed to get lost or they simply stopped working altogether for some unknown reason. I admit that sometimes I would wind them too tightly. After a while, I stopped buying or wearing watches.
No matter what time I go to bed, if I wake up in the middle of the night, it will be somewhere around the witching hour of 3 a.m. When the time changes for daylight savings time or standard time, my body gets confused—but only for a week or two. For the most part, I wake up in the morning at 6 a.m., regardless of my schedule for the day.
If anything, I get lost in the moment—whether I’m writing, on social media, or hanging out with family and friends. I don’t consciously think about time while I’m doing those things. But I always have a sense of when it’s time to stop to do something else on my agenda for the day.
How about you?
