The new moon in Sagittarius is exact on December 1 at 1:21 a.m. eastern.
In the northern hemisphere, we are diving deeper into the darkest days of the winter season. Now is a great time to tap into the Sagittarius aura of light-heartedness and optimism. It is an excellent way to work with the energies of Sagittarius season and this new moon cycle.
Along with its upbeat attitude, Sagittarius is also known for its wisdom, adventurousness, and as a mutable sign, ability to adapt to the situation at hand. With Jupiter as its ruling planet, Sagittarius is also known for having an expansive personality and for receiving more than its share of good luck!
We are also experiencing Mercury retrograde in the sign of Sagittarius, right now. This may bring some delays and setbacks, especially when it comes to travel, which both Sagittarius and Mercury are associated with. But as I tap into my inner optimistic Sagittarius, I get the feeling that this Mercury retrograde period may not be as disruptive as it could be. Or if you do have problems, you may get a lucky break! (Fun fact: Mercury retrograde and this new moon cycle end on the same day, December 15.)
New moons are ideal for new beginnings. With this new moon, you may want to expand your horizons by learning something new. Or, you may want to begin sharing your wisdom by teaching a class, formally or informally.
Truth is, the sky’s the limit right now. So, whatever you decide to do, do it with a generous heart. Be an inspiration to others and most of all, believe in yourself.
