Daily Tarot Reading for 5-31-2019

The Tarot card for today is the Queen of Pentacles (Comfort). Heading into the new moon on Monday, now would be a good time to put your house in order—on many levels. Start by looking at your budget, seeing where you can cut corners, and set goals for what to do with the money you save. Also, clean up around the house, rearrange the furniture, and maybe do a little bit of decorating. When all of that is done, make sure you get out and enjoy nature, if the weather permits. All of these practical things are also good for the soul.

The Tarot card for today is the Queen of Pentacles (Comfort). For all you do for other people, make sure that you also take care of yourself. It’s good to splurge once in a while and treat yourself to a massage or something small like a magazine at the news stand that you would usually glance at but not pick up.  But even on a daily basis, make self care a habit, such as adding a daily dose of aromatherapy or staying consistent with a beauty regimen (that goes for you, too, men, not just women)! Most of all, know your self worth. Know that you are deserving of your own admiration. Be comfortable in your own skin.

The Tarot cards for today are Temperance and the Queen of Pentacles. Do what you can to achieve balance in your life. The Queen of Pentacles is putting the focus on the material world. including your job, home, money, and creature comforts.

  • Spend wisely, but don’t deny yourself something you need or want.
  • Pay attention to matters of health and beauty. Finally make that long overdue doctor’s appointment. Take a chance and try out a new color of lipstick. At the same time, don’t overly worry about these things.
  • Take a moment to think about how things are going at your job. Are you putting enough energy into your work performance — or are you totally overextending yourself? Make sure your job works for you. Pun intended.

This could be in the form of cleaning up, rearranging the furniture, or making plans to redecorate on a large or even a small scale. How about buying some fun colorful throw pillows?  Make some small gesture so that your home expresses your personality. At the very least, spend a few moments appreciating the place where you take shelter.

But let’s not forget why the Queen of Pentacles is a Queen: It is because she is self-possessed. What does it mean to be self-possessed? It means to have it together internally, to be confident, and most importantly, to be comfortable in your own skin.

Technically, we reside in our houses and often we feel as if society judges us based on the things we own. But at the end of the day, when no one is looking, who we believe ourselves to be is where we really live. Our self worth is the only thing we truly possess. So make sure that you value yourself and that your actions are in line with what you are worth and who you want to be.

How much are you worth? You are priceless. It doesn’t matt0er if you are a man or a woman: You are the Queen. You are sovereign.

Feel your presence as you walk this earth, knowing that you belong on this planet. You are part of it and it is part of you. Take this moment to ground yourself in this stable energy. By becoming one with Earth’s energy, you become one with the Universe.

Here’s something simple to do: Stop at the florist or the supermarket and pick up a small arrangement of flowers and a plain vase. Proudly display them when you get home. This is a wonderful way to tap into the Queen of Pentacles energy and to lift your spirits.
