The card for today is the Five of Pentacles. You may feel discouraged. You believe that you have little to no resources. This could mean that money is tight right now but it does not have to be about money. You could feel as if  no one has your back or that you are lacking the inspiration to see a way out of your situation. You feel alone with nowhere to turn.

But are you really alone? Maybe you have friends or family members in a similar situation as you. These people can be resources for you, even if just as someone to talk to and who understands.

Also, don’t forget that you can ask for help directly from people you know or institutions such as social services, heath care professionals, and religious clergy. Don’t isolate yourself. Pick your head up and look around for a way out you may have missed.

Most of all, realize that this, too, shall pass. All of us have areas where we think we are lacking and that  we all go through rough patches. You are not alone.

Good morning and happy Monday, all!  Good and happy should be no problem with the energy of the Ten of Cups, today’s card. The Ten of Cups is all about emotional fulfillment and a sense of belonging. It’s a time to feel close to your family — whether it’s your biological family,  family of choice, tribe, or lover.

Whoever is reading this post, this message is meant for you to see. And if you resonate with it and have these good feelings of emotional security, then also take a moment or two to acknowledge your gratitude. Also, send some love energy and healing to those who were hard hit by hurricane Harvey and the subsequent flooding. The storm is over but it may take others a bit longer before they can see the rainbow.

The Star Card in Tarot – My Favorite Card

Last week, I drew the Star card for one of the daily readings. In my post, I mentioned that the Star Card is my favorite card in the Tarot deck.

The Star card is associated with the sign of Aquarius.  In my own astrological chart, I have important 11th house placements in personal planets. So maybe that is why i feel a connection with the Star.

But I am most affected by what I see on the card and what it means to me personally.

First of all, to be perfectly honest, I am drawn to the cards that feature people in a state of undress, to put it delicately. (One day soon I’ll write a post about nakedness in the the Tarot deck.) For me, nakedness symbolizes freedom, and that’s a quality and feeling I value — and downright crave.

I’m also drawn to the water. I love the water — the feel of it, the flow, and what it symbolizes (I’m a Cancer rising, by the way, and Cancer is a water sign).

Last but not least, I have always been fascinated with the stars and the sky. The sky depicted in the Star card is glorious, full of starbursts.  Somehow, no matter how often life brings disappointment, the stars  always remind me that my dreams may be delayed but the possibility for magic always exists.

Daily Tarot Reading – Extended Weekend Report 8-25 to 8-27-2017

The card for today, Saturday, and Sunday is the Two of Swords. You are at a crossroads and have to make a decision. However, you are not allowing yourself to see the entire picture. You are all up in your head right now weighing the pros and cons, but how do you feel about your situation? And even though the thoughts are clanking around in your brain, you are not doing anything concrete. You are just sitting there — thinking.

The key is to not turn your back on your emotions. The heart and head must work together in making any decision. Furthermore,  doing nothing is only going to make the problem worse.

Regardless, don’t be too hard on yourself. Once you take the blindfold off and start looking at your situation from  all angles — mind, body, and soul —  you will have an easier time knowing what to do.

Hello! Today’s card is the Ace of Wands. I am super excited because the messages from the cards this week have been really powerful, including two Major Arcana cards. If that weren’t enough, on Tuesday of this week I pulled another Ace.

I can’t help but think that we are still reeling from the energy of Monday’s solar eclipse. Astrologically speaking, the influence of the solar eclipse can be felt for six months, which is the interval between solar eclipses. The next solar eclipse will occur on February 15, 2018, so that gives us a lot of time to make the most the one that just happened. The Universe has given us a good start this week, so take full advantage of it.

Today’s card is the Star. I have a confession: the Star is my favorite card of the Tarot deck. This card symbolizes a pure and childlike hope that at the same time is  balanced and mature.

We are still coming out of the energy of the Monday’s solar eclipse, which promised to help us manifest our dreams. So expect your wishes to come true.

Strip yourself down to your most authentic self today. Be optimistic that there is nothing for you to hide. Be joyful but also stay grounded. Your emotions may be close to the surface but you have perfect control over them.

Enjoy these beautiful feelings. Count your lucky stars. Believe that you are very close to achieving your wildest dreams.

The card for today is the Ace of Swords, which is a perfect card for the day after the new moon/solar eclipse. New ideas ae now beginning their journey toward becoming reality.

You are very clear about what you want to do: You have thought it over carefully and there is no doubt in your mind how to proceed. However, some people may not be happy with the direction you are going in. Your idea could involve cutting off a relationship and starting anew. Or it could be you deciding to change your behavior and give someone tough love. You know that it’s the right thing to do, but you may be afraid to go through with it.

Remember that any difficulty with this endeavor is a result of letting negative thoughts overtake you. So even if your new project is unpopular or risky, it is the right thing to do as long as it is in your best interest. Go for it.

Good morning! Today’s card is the Three of Swords. My guidance is telling me that this should not be seen as a symbol of hurt and disappointment, particularly not today. Instead, I’m seeing the Three of Swords as an extremely positive sign that you are gaining clarity as we speak.

In other words, you are learning some important lessons today. You are no longer naïve. Your heart is getting smarter. You have increased your emotional maturity.

As you may know, today is the day of the total solar eclipse that will be seen across the United States. Astrologically, the effects of the eclipse will be felt all over the world. This eclipse is all about shedding fears and manifesting the life you desire. If you can today, take some time to think about what you want to manifest in your life and all the things you can achieve.

I am always struck by how the Three of Swords card does not show any blood, even though the heart is pierced. In Tarot, swords are meant to symbolize thoughts, knowledge, and communication. The number three represents stability and wholeness. Use this energy today to cut through the nonsense and clutter. Create a better way. Align your head and heart.
