The 5 of Pentacles is about feeling that you are lacking the resources you need. This can mean that you have financial worries or health concerns, or that you believe you have no one to turn to.

In this image from the Starman Tarot, two people are trying to get warmth from a trashcan fire. One person hangs their head in despair. For some reason, they are unaware that they are sitting outside the gates of Paradise and the doors are wide open for them to come in if they choose.

Looking around and finally seeing opportunities to solve their problems is a possibility for some people. For others, it’s not that simple. There may be invisible barriers that prevent them from entering paradise. Others choose not to follow the yellow brick road to Emerald City, for whatever the reasons.

We never know what obstacles others are facing, So don’t judge them or consider yourself defective if you must follow another path. You can find another way.
