Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Pisces — How To Work With The Energies

The full moon in Pisces is exact on August 28 at 12:18 a.m. eastern. It is also a partial lunar eclipse, potentially visible to anyone on the night side of the Earth if the sky is clear. The eclipse begins on August 27 at 9:23 p.m., reaches maximum coverage on August 28 at 12:12 a.m., and ends at 3:01 a.m., all eastern times.

Considering that the north node moved from Pisces to Aquarius recently, this Pisces full moon closes a chapter in our lives. You are encouraged to remember the lessons learned during the last 18 months, which were to lean into your intuition, follow your dreams, and prioritize your spiritual growth.

And as full moons (and lunar eclipses) are about releasing what no longer serves your highest good, this Pisces full moon also urges you to let go of situations, thought patterns, and/or behaviors that keep you from answering your calling.

Although this is not an easy task, achieving perfection is not the goal. The goal is to tap into who you are at your core.

Think of the Moon card, which is associated with the zodiac sign of Pisces. The dog and the wolf represent the tame side of us that conforms to society’s standards and our wild, shadow side. They both howl at the moon, looking for answers. The only solution will be to allow our subconscious thoughts and feelings to come to the surface, like the crayfish that emerges from the murky waters.

Eclipse season is ending, and yet the work continues as reality shifts and transforms. Go with the flow and make the most of your reality. Feel your way along and don’t shy away from what you discover.
