Exhaustion is your body and mind telling you that you have done enough for now. Take a break. Have a “me” day to rest and relax. Ask other people to help or even do things for you. You may think that this is giving up control, but by consciously stopping to rest, you are taking a positive step toward self love. You may have the passion to keep going and going, but your body and mind need time to catch up.

And if you don’t celebrate the holidays, this can still be a stressful time because you may feel like the odd man out, or you may feel forced by peer pressure to participate in the holidays because your family, friends, or coworkers are doing it. Whatever the case my be, relax this weekend. Take the burden off your shoulders. Scale back your plans if you want to. Ask others for help so that you don’t have to do everything.
